Stuck at new planet

So i used the shuttle to go to an other planet but it sucks there.
How do i come back?

I don't have fuel, so thats no option.
I've got a generator but it doesn't seem to work.

I need resin but can't find any on this planet..

what to do?!

For fuel look for Hydrazine ( http://astroneer.gamepedia.com/Hydrazine )

On the easier planets, it's usually underground. Some others, like the Exotic, it's on the surface.

Your only other way is to look around for resin, (which on easier planets should be on the surface, but the tougher ones it's often underground), and start building up your base, and create either a Trade platform, or a Condenser to get your fuel.

seem your going to be there for a while, start building base till you can produce fuel to launch out of that planet

This is why I started taking mats with me so I could kick start a base. Some places you have to dig to find compond and resin and with just your suit and ship that can take a long time.

This is basicly a base in a box. And it is sort of what I use. But basicly once you have the stuff to make a trade post, fuel condencer, and power you can get the rest with a little time.

I had a similar problem. I used the shuttle to fly to a moonlike planet, realised there was nothing except of rocks, went back to my planet, but landed randomly. Ran out of fuel after I landed and fell into a huge cave and died there....*duh...* So, of course: I lost everything I had with me, when I spawned at my fuel-less shuttle. Was stuck in that damn area for at least an hour, while trying desperately to get new fuel for the shuttle. There was nothing really helpful in walking distance, except inside the damn cave. So this whole "get fuel and then get the hell out of here - operation" was some pain in the a****. Went something like this: Gathered some air bubbles on the cave walls, searched for fuel, nearly suffocated, found some more bubbles, found some fuel... nearly suffocated again, tried to find a way back to the surface (these caves were huge and deep. like I said, fell down there by accident and died when I landed) more suffocating, gathered more fuel, choked to death, lost everything, spawned next to the shuttle again and did the damn thing all over again (at least 6-8 times...) *duuuuhhh*
finally found enough fuel, got back to the surface without suffocating, ran back to the shuttle and made my way back home safely... *what a trip*

Whaha yeh i did it kinda the same way only it took me 3 evenings to find "fuell" because i simply did not know that you could harvest fuel.

But now I know and i think i've seen all the plannets, so i just crached my car in a really deep cave to keep it intersting. but i think i'm through the alpha version now?

Big question... Is there more to do?!

You went to a tundra planet without a pod or extra solar/wind panels? The shuttle is only for planetary orbit, the spaceship is for other planets, go prepared. :P Also, build a trade station, helps. All this needs you to research stuffs. :D Having a truck on the first planet helps to cart samples from surface to be researched.

im doign a challenge with no resources from another planet right now and doin fine

I'm sure you need a hyperdrive or something in order to leave the system.

im doign a challenge with no resources from another planet right now and doin fine

Messed around with the drill at all? I still need to research a bit more for that. Strip mining is fun n all but time consuming, especially carting things back and forth.
