Resin?

How can I make resin?

I can only find "organic", "compound" materials and unknown objects but no resin at all, so I guess I have to craft it somehow?

You find resin in the same way as compound. I had the same problem as you, but when I started a new game resin was basically everywhere.

you find 'common' materials normally. 'rare' materials you usually need to extract from ores you find ontop of pillars and in caves

i think you are having the same "problem" i had,the rsign isnt close to your spawn/base,u need just to explore a bit to find it

Once you craft a soil separator, you'll essentially have an infinite supply of resin, quartz, compound, organic, clay, ammonium, and graphite. Then we can discuss soil farming. And ask me how that also leads to unlimited supply of every resource you can mine (aside from astronium).

youre right, its about necroing an outdated post, which is not helpful and gets in teh way of actual relevant threads. now a mod has to come in and lock it so you dont keep wasting everyone elses time

Judging from your achievement progress, you already collected at least 4 stacks of Resin and built and used the Soil Centrifuge. So you should have all the knowledge and means to obtain Resin. Besides, Resin is one of the abundant resources that can be found on the surface and in the caves of every planet. Please note that Resin has changed color since this discussion was started 7 years ago; it used to be purple, but it is yellow for years now.

If you are able to find this age-old thread on these forums, then I am confident that you are also capable of finding Resin in the game.
