source engine lineage games in general, including CS Global Offense, CS Source, 1.6, CS2, etc. Source engine games with modding kits or source code access usually give you all the developer tools and features by default. CS:GO/CS2, while more locked down and without source code access, still provide quite a few developer tools via the console or the map editor. I suppose the main difference here is that Astroneer has a proper singleplayer mode and it's easier to cheat in skins without the servers being able to verify it.

But I don't think a public developer console or cheat menu needs to include the ability to cheat skins in anyway, CS's doesn't allow it either.

Hey, you can start a self defined Game, where you can take in backpack, things that you like to have. With the Power Usage and Power Generation Setup, you can make that so easy as in creative mode. When I start a Game with that system, I got 2 OT-RTG, 1 mobile O2 generator a work light and at least at minimum 1 TNT for a good start. No need for a console right now.

Thank you not for unnecessarily reminding us almost eight years after the fact, and one year after the last posting in this thread, by not answering the initial question either.

Since the end of 2019, the game has a creative mode where you can get instantly any craftable item you want.
