Yooka-Replaylee exists because the folks here wanted to take a second look at the game, account for a bunch of the player feedback and implement the stuff they wish they could have back then. We've put out a few Q&A videos with old and new devs (On our YT!) that discuss this.

I've seen the "cash grab" and "why not make something new" sentiment thrown around a lot and for what it's worth... We're not just working on this!

We have a team overseeing Yooka-Replaylee while other teams work on other exciting projects! Yooka-Replaylee is an opportunity for old and new devs alike to implement new ideas, work on new tech and share that knowledge and tech with the teams working on other projects.

If I am not mistaken, you guys are made up of ex-Rare employees.

Please can you gain the rights to Conker back from Microsoft and remake that? One of the best games ever made imo and MS are doing nothing with that golden nugget. Or at the very least make a new x-rated cartoony, platformer. It was refreshing.

Highly doubt they would could get the rights back from Microsoft.

Secondly, there's no way we're getting a new Conker game (or anything like it) in this day and age buddy. We would not get something anywhere close to it. Sometime dead is better but if you really are a masochist look up Young Conker on YouTube lol.

they are not gonna comb through them and remove people they find "problematic" unless if its something profane jesus christ steam forums are insane. even if they were to do that it would just bring more attention to those people so they wouldn't do that anyways.
