Find Roads of Rome and My Kingdom for the Princess. They are like this game but better. Not to knock down this game but the other two are great.

Kingdom Tales had a similar game play where you queue up tasks and the little workers go do things to clear up the roads and build houses for more resources.

Gamersgate has a bunch of this type. Monument Builders series is really good. They also have the Alaware bundle, one of the distributers of this type of game. Monument Builders Titanic was especially enjoyable.
