Problem with the game after Windows 11 24H2 update

Since installing 24H2 update I'm experiencing black screen at the start of Mafia 3 Definitive edition and frequent crashes (the game crashes before entering the main menu). I know that there is some workaround but I cannot find it here. Update: disabling of full screen optimization in compatibility tab of exe file solves the black screen problem but not the crashes...

The only thing that helps is restarting PC, then you can play it

I agree. Black screen at startup is solved with the solution provided. Yesterday, quitting the game after playing ended in a black screen and non responisve PC, need a hard restart/reset. I will now try as suggested in other discussions, to play in windowed mode. I played a lot of games on my PC the last year and never had crashing my whole system. If this happens a second time i will stop playing this game.
