Looks pretty Horrible. Got the DE

Only playing at 1080p at the highest settings with a few things turned to low. It looks freaking blurry and looking around gives every Object some weird white shadow effect.

Aa, another one of thous who can't play year old game because its too old, won't support vr or 4K-8K quality and won't cost atleast 5€.

1080p is enough for a game like this.

im not complaining about the resolution, i do about the blurrynes and the pretty strong texture ghosting thats going on.

Yeah I usually turn that kind of stuff off too.

Maybe update graphics drivers? I'm really unsure, I haven't experienced it but there's a good bit of internet history saying the game has all kinds of strange tech issues.

I only read about those issues in the DE, my Brother played the normal version and he said everything looked fine there.

I started playing Mafia III DE yesterday and I had the same "white shadow" problem, its ghosting from the monitor. I simply fixed it by setting my monitors response time to standard and not overclocked or extreme.

Found the problem, i have a 144hz monitor but the game only runs at 60hz

also turn bloom OFF

note this game says win 7 and its a console port, be happy with 60!
they added this IN GAME and launcher for 60
where consoles had 30 lock

It is probably the TAA setting (antialiasing) you have to set it to a lower setting to get less bluring the higher the setting the blurrier the game gets. You can also force different AA through you GPU control panel.

there really is no true 4k for this game or any in the series
its false 4k

the blur is also MOTION blur and bloom, turn both off via nvid tools or in game.
this game only supports one AA method mate sorry its a port from a console, it wasnt updated for pc
hence win 7 recommended etc.
just like dx12 its not... not really its 11.5
but lets call it 12 to force etc
rebuys from people whom had all these games
btw again, the only game that doesnt suck is mafia 1 NON DE
mafia 2 the story is good but the game,, is the worst in the series
maf 3 is just middle ground boring bad story bad open world, no change up

vs the OG Mafia where you had to drive speed limits had to not hit things

Download community patch on Nexus Mod or something like that, push home once you are in the game and turn off filters or set whatever you want and enjoy, much better game afterwards. (Guns deal more damage so set difficulty to highest otherwise it became really easy)

Wait there is a QoL mod? for which M1 de m3?
oddly the few mods I saw DISABLE achievements as this game has one main file for such things and editing that messes steam cheevs up

so I fear that..

You don't need to drive on speed limits just drive as fast as you can and slow down when cops come near.

Also when have 18 year old still been consider as kid? + There is whole lot of side missions, mafia 2 is only one that doesn't have thous. And og mafia did not have free roam (other than separate mode) where mafia 2 have sort of and mafia 3 is nothing but free roam.

Do tell how they took free roam out of mafia 3 that is open world game?

hmm mate the only one i see isnt a patch for the game
its actually not a real mod, it just edits settings in a file you and everyone else can do with nvid
