We all know this game is fken amazing!!
Basic idea is still the same dispite small changes.
Skyrim and fallout are both open world games with lots of things to do.
Difference: One have swords, other have guns.
...and still not bored. Wow, imagine that. Imagine not getting bored with playing a game called Mafia where one plays a character doing 'mafia stuff'.
Lol I'm one of those people who puts a lot of hours into Snowrunner, a game where you can spend literally hours getting an offroad truck moving out of a mud pit so Mafia is a fast paced game for me! ;)
Jokes aside, I loved Mafia 1 (I only ever played the base version when it first came out and loved everything about it) but then was out of the loop with games for years, skipped Mafia 2 and even 3, only just saw it existed and thought to try the demo, then bought it.
You can certainly see its age, yes. But it still looks engaging and very good to me. But the color palette, to an artist like myself, is particularly alluring as I only ever paint in limited color palette :)
