Is Mafia III going to use Directx 12?

Mafia 2 came out not long before Directx 11 but it never got a patch for Directx 11

I hope this time you devs are going to take the advantage of having Directx 12, and if you dont plan to go with Directx 12 then i hope it is planned to patch the game later on for this purpose.

Can we get some technical details on this please?

Judging by the screenshots on steam it looks unimproved or only effects-wise improved from II imo.

because 1 person doesnt want to switch OS, that doesnt mean there wont be tons of games with DX12 features

because 1 person doesnt want to switch OS, that doesnt mean there wont be tons of games with DX12 features

W7 = 57% world used
and W10 is not free, after one year you do paid a licence or crack.
And W10 use so much processus get less perfomance in-game you do optimized windows before enable Internet (need disable update for block all apps-preinstalled) etc...

My all friends say W10 is ♥♥♥♥ because use so much processor/disk hard (they don't know optimized/blocking etc)

I think I'm not one don't want switch, but I know so much people don't know what is Vulkan.

I have optimized my Windows 7, in run I have only 36 processus oppening and 0%-1% used processor!

no you dont. you get to use windows 10 forever it's not trial. make more research. you dont need to disable updates neither, that's bs and not true.
windows 10 is better optimized than windows 7 so that's bs too.

This isnt true for now, Win 10 is horribly optimized, you can see a lot of games having issues with Win 10 atm

Still better than nothing, Mafia 2 used DX9 even though DX11 was out at the time, but they didnt use it,and the game performed poorly on mid-high end GPUs, and it wasnt pleasant even on high-end GPUs especially after you maxing out the game in the time because of DX9 and poor Physx implementation.

Im, um, ok. You need to look at bench marks: win 10 helps alot of games get 2-8 fps, not everyone, but alot. I hope its dx11/12. dx11 for nvidia users and dx12 for amd. Well with pascal that might change....Im all about open pc, so heck port it to steam machine.
