Are achievements still buggy in 2023?

I wanted to start the game and go for 100%, are the achievements still not unlocking properly? is there any fix to make the buggy ones work?

Still the same, no fixes even with the definitive edition to the achievements.

Some you have to get in one gaming session as the stats are not part of the 'save game'.

Either do them in one sitting or use safe file jumping.

i just did the throwing knife one and the kill 4 people in slow mo 10 times and had to do it in on session. Cant find out how to finish with "No lose ends".

Thanks! That worked, 100% done. Just have to keep the game running for achievements to count. First attempt my power went out half way threw. I sped run it the next time and only took like 2 hours.

Its steam achievements, they're not going to fix it when 2k has there own launcher that does not support achievements. 29.99.... you know where in the end of times where 70 dollar games from billion dollar company are unplayable right? Idk what achievement your on but most work if you do it in one session like i did, or just download SAM to force unlock ones you done if you feel you deserved it.

I just don't get how a game is apparently not worth playing on its own merits, suddenly is worth the money if you can get achievements. The game is well worth playing, regardless.

i had to never close the game(i only closed the internet so that hours don't gather up) to be able to unlock most of the broken achievements. other solutions can be found in the guides.

What’s a SAM?

Something that gets you banned if you talk about it too loudly. Google it.
