How do you modify your car?

Mafia II- Start modding your car 35 minutes after the game starts.

The car mods are in the weapon dealer for some reason. This is one of the few issues i have with the game. There should be mechanic shops, why the gun dealer has our vehicle upgrades is a little strange.

There are already upgrades in the game, these will be new ones in the future. God i hope they add a garage too.

What do you mean locked? You ahve to advance your underbosses to open the upgrades if that is what you mean.

I guess the car tuning was already planned from the beginnung but just got delayed regarding a story mission around car parts and such. And there's also a chance to see a few cars during this mission with air scoops or spoilers (which are not use for these cars otherwise iirc).

You are unlocking them if by increasing your lieutenants income or favors. Just check the requirement.

You just do it over time. Everytime you buy ammo, armor, med shots, upgrades, guns etc, etc it all adds up.
