How to skip the launcher?

Hi, I am having problems with the Steam overlay not working in Mafia 3. This must be because of the launcher when you start the game. In most games there is some launch options to skip the launcher and directly start the game, like -nolaunch or something. Any idea if Mafia 3 has this or how to fix the overlay to work?

In short: find location of mafia3.exe (inside Steam apps), rename mafia3.exe to launcher.exe (probably want to rename the existing launcher.exe).

This process will be reversed if you validate content.

Steam overlay works for me.
