Joe Barbaro theory (Warning major spoilers)

So Vito claims Joe was killed after spending a lot of time on the run but never confirmed his death himself if you comeplete all his missions. However, during the last mission Leo Gallante appears, his driver looks very suspiciously like Joe, and Leo was a good friend of Vito's, so even if Vito doesn't know it is possible Leo could keep him around without the commisions knowledge and use someone else's death in real Joe's place. I couldnt get a screenshot as it happened pretty quick so I can't make a comparison if anyone else can. Thoughts?

I definitely think it was joe. They gave him a close up - and he looked DIRECTLY into the camera.

I think it was more of a nudge for older fans of the game as newcomers won't really care about him due to never having a relationship

Maybe with some flashback missions when they were children and just before vito joined the army.

Take a look at the facial structure too, along with the scar on the chin. This guy is certainly Joe!

I think maybe he's hiding in plain sight, other mobsters probably don't know how Joe is supossed to look, Leo introduces him with another name and keeps him close. revealing himself to Vito may endanger him if it was the case.

I can see maybe dlc or the next game involving vito, joe and lincoln going up against leo and thus reuniting joe and vito, unless they become enemys, the latter would suck imo.
