Regardless of how people don't like Angry Joe, he speaks the truth about this game.
He is gonna trash the game hard.
My best guess is this. The pc market of this game is 10% maybe, 90% is consoles. So they use a second company to port this game over, and not much money are spent on this.
When game has ported and are ready to be released the company adds a review embargo because they know what state the game is in. And they add the 30fps cap to try and conseal very bad optimization.
Only when totalbiscuit and PC Gamer started asking questions after the game released, hangar13 and 2k admitted the game was only running 30fps.
Now those 10% that are pc gamers, only 5% complain. Of those 5% maybe 20% refunds the game, tops. That's business 101, spend millions less, cash in, and profit. Maybe the next mafia game will be out in 5 years from now. By then, everyone has forgotten, and new people have grown up to buy the new games.
Pretty much to sum it up...everything equals greed lol. I understand that. Too bad really...but it makes sense. Nothing changes right? Been like that since the dawn of cash lol. Why take the time on something and make it right if it is going to cost you an extra few million.

It's worth $20 not $60. You don't even own the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I atleast owned it, played it and refunded the thing.
OMG, I am glad I return it, I pre order it for $104.99 Deluxe edition. This is the QUALITY they give me. NONONO I wont buy it even it is $ 5.00 now.

Yah i'm in the same boat as you. I might maybe buy it down the line when it's on 50% sale or more. Maybe. I can't believe people actually think this is a great game. Using the word great, which in easy terms means "way better than good". People just don't have any clue.
