[UPDATE 10/14] PC Hotfix is Live

UPDATE 10/14: We just rolled out a hotfix on PC that addresses blurry rendering for some players, and other stability improvements.We’re still working on more fixes for Mafia III and will share more details in the coming week. Thanks for the feedback!



PC players, reboot Mafia III because patch 1.01 is now available for download. This patch includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options on PC. To select your framerate, just head to the display menu in-game. Just make sure to tailor the framerate settings to the power of your machine. This patch also includes improvements to keyboard remapping, so head to the controls menu to check out the options. Note: this patch resets keyboard mapping to default, so any changes you made to the controls previously will need to be customized after installing the patch.

We aren’t done with fixes and updates and will continue to listen to our community for ways to improve your experience in New Bordeaux. And check here [mafiagame.com] to see what content updates we have in the works, including outfit swapping, races, and more.

Probably not, i'm still waiting for customization, Hangar 13 is receiving so much hate that they are becoming Hello Games!

I know the game minimal requirements are above Phenom-tier CPU's, but they didn't specify the SSE 4.1 requirement. Therefore a patch to fix this would be really nice or there will be a flood of refunds coming out of people who have capable CPU's that just dont support SSE 4.1. (For example I'm running AMD Phenom II X6 1100T that has support for x86, x86-64, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 and SSE4a. Still unable to launch the game because missing the SSE 4.1 support.) Allthough the optimization seems to be so bad that the game won't be playable anyway.

try it in a friend pc with a gtx 770 4gb and a fx 8370 4.3 ghz and cant keep 40fps in most place even in lower res than 1080P (got 20fps in 1440p all the rest to low) and no matter the setting it all look blurry and crappy... happy i did not buy and he'll probably get a refund as well

Just look at this guy's posting history and in the War hammer forums he states that his spec is the same as his friend's.

Still not touched this game and Gamespot have just given it a 6. Mafia 1 is still one of my favourite games ever and 2 was great also. Really hope they patch/fix this soon so I can jump in and enjoy it without any problems. I wish open world games would stop throwing in so many pointless side missions as filler that are pure distractions also.
