[UPDATE 10/14] PC Hotfix is Live
UPDATE 10/14: We just rolled out a hotfix on PC that addresses blurry rendering for some players, and other stability improvements. We’re still working on more fixes for Mafia III and will share more details in the coming week. Thanks for the feedback!

PC players, reboot Mafia III because patch 1.01 is now available for download. This patch includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options on PC. To select your framerate, just head to the display menu in-game. Just make sure to tailor the framerate settings to the power of your machine. This patch also includes improvements to keyboard remapping, so head to the controls menu to check out the options. Note: this patch resets keyboard mapping to default, so any changes you made to the controls previously will need to be customized after installing the patch.

We aren’t done with fixes and updates and will continue to listen to our community for ways to improve your experience in New Bordeaux. And check here [mafiagame.com] to see what content updates we have in the works, including outfit swapping, races, and more.

The game is crashing randomly! Please fix it!
We were told to keep an eye on Twitter i did i even followed Hangar13 and MafiaGame sadly all i see is advertisment and comments that seem surreal, folks that talk about a top notch game and give superb ratings.
I open up the game take a look into the reviews and comments, yet only those on steam and ask myself is this on twitter rigged or are these guys playing their first video game ever?
Can't imagine otherwise.
Anyway i dont mind that much, what the magazines claim, but what i care about is playing the Game since i paid for it.
That is why i now have to ask is there any news about an upcomming patch to fix the current open issues like cpu support, lightning, washed out textures, pedestrian ai, object collision, car body destruction, bushes that you can not pass through, shadows, water quality more...
The lack of communication towards your customers currently is remarkable.
Would be nice to get the same attention as the marketing campaign or at least some more information.

When the next patch? :steamfacepalm:

All i can say is rip steam refund. Thats why i download torrented before purchase to get hands on exp. People will slander torrents but do you really think 2 hours is anough to know the game?

Well first ofyou should be cautious about openly admitting that you grabbed a pirated copy via a torrent.
Secondly i think that two hours is enough time, to take a look at the game to see its obvious flaws.
The only thing that i have to critic about the release is that they did not give out testversions to gaming magazines, there was no chance for them to warn consumers about the state of the game in advance.

What 'bout the textures and the horrible lighting plus properly rescaled HUD?
Why do I even have to ask?
Exactly. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
I have a more detailed description of the freezes because I just got another (probably my eleventh). I was just sitting parked in my car listening to music and not touching the keyboard. I even saw the light change time of day. There was a beautiful sunlight on a shiny white car, so I tried to take a screen shot, but the keyboard was unresponsive. The music continued, and if I were to not touch the keyboard I would have no clue the game was frozen. Alt-tabbing away and coming back gave me the black screen with "Mafia III" in the top left. There's no way to close or restore the game at that point short of rebooting, no matter how long I wait. This happens a LOT, but this is an example of it happening when I wasn't driving or fighting or doing anything.

Please either fix this bug or give us the ability to save game manually. It's completly ruining an otherwise superb game. Thanks.

Edit: The game just froze on me again just as I stealth eliminated all the guards in a compound and was about to complete the quest. This is now the 13th time this happened to me in several hours of game play. No problems for 30 to 180 minutes and then freeze with no warning, and because you don't allow manual saves if I log back into the game it will put me back across town, make me drive there and make me kill all the guards all over again just to catch up to where you crashed. This is unbearable. I can't play anymore until you patch this or give us the ability to save progress :(

Well only the police can supervise that. Devs cant do jack about it. Having a premium vpn solves that but remember steam is a platform for purchase and sharing. I have read the terms of steam and there is no mention of the use of torrents. Since there is no hacking or fraud towards steam then that comment was pointless. And seriously 2 hours is not alot of time in any game. Especialy open world games like this.
wo bleibt Patch 1.02 ????????????????????
Man really this is not MAFIA anymore !!!!!!!!!!!! shame on you

Any chance of a fix for Phenom CPU's or are we just supposed to refund it?
Have you had any response of any kind? I also have a Phenom CPU and the game just crashes to the desktop. Left a discussion but the devs chooses not to respond. I have the retail version therefor cannot refund.
Optional chapters
Delray hollow – Emmanuel lazare

Are we cool – Steal the boat

After selecting the mission and travelling to the location, there was no boat available to steal, only a marker in the water, unable to do the mission. Please Fix.
