[UPDATE 10/14] PC Hotfix is Live

UPDATE 10/14: We just rolled out a hotfix on PC that addresses blurry rendering for some players, and other stability improvements.We’re still working on more fixes for Mafia III and will share more details in the coming week. Thanks for the feedback!



PC players, reboot Mafia III because patch 1.01 is now available for download. This patch includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options on PC. To select your framerate, just head to the display menu in-game. Just make sure to tailor the framerate settings to the power of your machine. This patch also includes improvements to keyboard remapping, so head to the controls menu to check out the options. Note: this patch resets keyboard mapping to default, so any changes you made to the controls previously will need to be customized after installing the patch.

We aren’t done with fixes and updates and will continue to listen to our community for ways to improve your experience in New Bordeaux. And check here [mafiagame.com] to see what content updates we have in the works, including outfit swapping, races, and more.

Game still runs ♥♥♥♥♥♥. GTX 970 and i5-4670 with 8 GB of ram should handle ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PS2 graphics at 144 fps. Am I really the only one with the problem, because google didn't come up with any forum posts regarding to the abhorrent performance this game has even post patch. Is 2K deleting negative posts/reviews or what?

I will play Gears of War 4 instead, at least they know how a computer work.

I'm on skylake i7...32GB RAM...GTX 980Ti with a 34 inch wide monitor. Able to launch game but the display icons are all messed up, the options page icons aren't coming up right. Nothing can be selected or click on i.e. no response. Game have be deleted and re-downloaded/re-installed thrice.

What else can be I do? Throw my PC into the bin? Or a refund perhaps?

First of all, fix that all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashes every 10-15 min of the game. Second, fix the performance and third - bring us NORMAL textures, not this 512x512 bs.

It was ok before the patch - now its really gone worse - fps breaks down and now all CPU cars are driving crazy around, driving into houses, turning circels all the time... jesus... it went really BAD

Does any Phenom owner still happen to have the extreme injector used with farcry 4 (a Win10 working version)

Das soll wohl ein blöder Witz sein. Spiel startet immer noch nicht. Nach Blackscreen gehts zurück zum Desktop. Nach Faycry das zweite Spiel für das Geld kassiert wird und das nciht funktioniert.
Wird wohl andgültig Zeit für einen Anwalt.

This patch is GREAT.... NOOOOOT!!! Since installing it I can't play it AGAIN coz the damn launcher just closes and thats it. I had the launcher problem originally but changing the options/ Global Quality Presets to low, med or high fixed the problem.... well now it doesn't so I can't play again. Seriously.

Lol anyone who jumps ahead and buy games is a sucker, I downloaded the cracked version with the patch to see if its worth a buy and man was i glad i didnt buy this p.o.s unoptimized port!
The textures looks like from 2008, there is a stupid sky shadow bug and it hardley scratches 45 fps with a gtx980, what a shame!
Just refund guys we all make mistakes and we need to teach these lazy ass devs a lesson!

Guys, it's not the necessarily the devs that need to be blamed. Usually when things are rushed it's a money/management decision. Let's cash first and then think about solving some issues...
