Can't wiretap?

I got the electronic parts or whatever they are, but when I approach one of the wiretap boxes I dont get any prompt to interact with it?

yeah I wiretapped like 2 boxes already but none of the others are allowing me to

How many parts do you have ;] it requires 3.
Also, have you tried simply pressing F or E and see if that works.
And then there's the restart mafia/steam.

after 1st meeting with burke, cassandra, vito in bayou, after finished the dlc stones unturned and dlc faster baby, after 1st time meeting donovan in barclay mils, i can't wiretap the boxes in barclay mils, why?? how to fix this bug?? :(

I'm in the exact same boat, after doing some DLC I cannot access junction boxes no matter how many parts I have.

I am way too committed to this save to start a new game to get around it. Please help.

after i have get 6th district, i can wiretap again in barclay mils..... :)

I believe this happened to me while the Santangelo objective was active (happens after taking Southdowns). Progressing the story eventually fixed it.

Santangelo is the man who Marcano turns to for help immediately after you liberate the Southdowns district. A large area objective becomes active over Downtown and the French Ward, in which you get attacked by Santangelo within a few seconds while traveling on the streets. Killing him removes the objective and restored my ability to interact with wiretap locations. This could happen in the early mid-game or just before the final act depending on how early or late you liberate the Southdowns.

I found if I summoned the concierge to force a save, then quit the game, and restarted, I would be able to do the wiretaps again

I have this same problem; I tried your solution, Smock, and unfortunately it didn't work. And some wiretap locations are missing from the map where probably there were before. (I have just taken over Tickfaw Harbor and my informants' locations are active within Southdowns.)

Also I've now noticed that my previously tapped places are missing! That's right, most of the wiretapping (green-highlighted areas) doesn't show up on the map when I toggle that mode. If there were an interesting story reason for it I guess I could see it, and then press on without worry that everything would eventually be restored, but now this is just weird.
