No, thanks to you =)
Read changes! It is actually a bug!
Sorry for being so tiresome, but I don't want this bug to be ignored in this weekend's patch =(
Bump again
Did the devs willfully ignore this issue, since they were apparently made aware of this?
Oh, boy, were do I start...
Last time I played the game was about 3 months ago, just to see if they had fixed it.
When the game came out, I posted this thread and also submitted a bug report to Hangar 13, detailing it with extreme clarity. I even made a video showcasing the bug and explaining it, and sent it to them. Nothing.
They basically told me that they've "compiled all the information I've sent and forwarded it to the developers. That is were their jobs end and now it is up to the developers when to fix the bug".
So I waited for a few months. Every time the game got a patch, I downloaded it and booted it up to see if the issue had been fixed. But nothing. Every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.
So I was getting desperate after like 3 months of waiting after I had thoroughly reported the bug and seeing it still was not fixed. So I submitted another bug report, this time in a very angry tone, linking to the previous ticket and demanding an explanation for them taking so long to fix a tiny issue that could easily be fixed in 10 minutes.
But again, they told me that there was nothing more they could do, that their job was simply to forward bug reports to the developers themselves, that they are the ones who decide when and which bugs to patch.
Then I replied to the support staff member asking "Please be sincere with me. Should I bother expecting a fix anymore?". Wanna know what she replied? Verbatim from the e-mail:
So basically, the bug isn't going to be fixed because although it is a bug that has been accounted for and all that, most players don't even notice it, so why bother? T_T
It's been more than a year and a half from that, and yet nothing. Hangar 13 has lost my respects as a customer. A bug is a bug, and it is keeping me from enjoying a game I purchased. I reported the bug, and it is such a minor one that fixing it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, seriously. And you won't fix it because you can't be bothered to because only I (and probably only two or three more people) took the time to report it?
And don't tell me that fixing a bug takes time and resources, they can't dedicate to your pet issue bla bla bla. Yes they can, it is a bug, they're expected to fix bugs withing their product I paid money for. And the issue itself takes NO TIME to fix, it is nothing!!!!!
So sorry, my friend, but the devs are done with this game. And so am I. I tried playing it regardless, but I just can't stand getting killed because the crosshairs slow down on the worst moment. Having to fight a moving crosshairs to be able to aim properly is not a comfortable way to play for me.
In the end, I just said "screw it" and beat the game with the assistance on (I mean, "off", you know). I wish I could have played without it, but in the end I was able to complete the game without even noticing it at times.
