these are my other settings:
Fullscreen: on
Vsync: on
Global quality: custom
Ambient Occlusion: low
Motion Blur: off
Geometry detail: High
Shadow Quality: Medium
Volumetric effects: Medium
Antialiasing: Low
I also tried disabling AA through the AMD control center, but it didnt seem to change anything.
Im not sure if this fix will work for anyone else, but ill post it here anyway, just so people can try it out if they experience the same issue.
First i went to: C:\Users\X\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia III\Data\76561198096427159\profiles\temporaryprofile
(the numbers will most likely be different on your pc, and dont forget to change X to your windows username)
in this folder you will find 8 files one of which is called profile_videosettings.pf
open this file in notepad
In the file look for this line : <m_MotionBlur>true</m_MotionBlur>
and change it to <m_MotionBlur>false</m_MotionBlur>
save the file and boot up the game
The game will give you an error about broken configuration files, and overwrite them.
(this is normal)
Now, in the game go to the graphics options (not in the loader!! Inside the game itself)
there you change motion blur to off, and presto, motion blur permanently disabled!
Hopefully this will help out someone :)
