Hello guys, today i got my mafia III. When I tried to start game it said some error (you can see it up). Do you guys have som fix for this problem?

you need to do windows update.

Many players are finding it difficult to start Mafia 3, even going to the app folder and starting via "mafia3.exe" does not work. As player try to start the game via "mafia3.exe" they are greeted with the error message "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing". The error message says to try reinstalling the game.

A fix for it has been discovered. You don't have to reinstall the entire game again. Go to the Windows Update site and see if you are missed any update? if yes then download and install it and then restart your game. I was receiving this same "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing" error, checked the Windows update site and guess what I was missing something, downloaded and installed it and now Mafia 3 works fine. The link to the exact update I installed.

Guys i install the windows update and i get api-ms-win-crt-runtime etc. and i go to this site

I Use and the CMD Dont work ! Please guys help me ! I Will be so happy !

Hey man! I just found out the problem. Is your Wusa.exe running? Because you only allowed to run it once? All you need to do is go on Task Manager and Click on Wusa.exe and stop it. Then Run the KB29999226.

Let me know if it works!

The error means C++ 2015 didn't install properly so follow the link

If it doesn't work try launching you OS in safe mode were all unnecessary drivers won't start. I had the problem and I finally installed it properly on my Window 7 PC while it was in safe mode.

oh Yes ofc. Silly me. Iv just uninstalled C++ 2015 and reboot and reinstalling it again. Im currently downloading latest patch for Mafia 3.
