Will I get refund after playing for 2.4 hours
I requested refund for the game
After I checked the timer it shows 2.4 hours. Will I get refund
But actual play time is very less considering the amount of cutscenes at the starting .

UPDATE: Just got the confirmation of refund
and amount will be credited to my account within 24 hours

Till now Game has great story.
i'll definitely give it a try once all problems with PC are fixed (obviously when its on sale)

Thanks Guys

Nope you won't, 2 hour limit.

you arent eligible for it.
even 2 hours and 10 seconds = uneligible.

With 2.4 there's a good possibility, might depend a lot on the reasoning you gave. But like the above posters stated over 2 hrs is tough and they are pretty strict about it.

Ask Steam Support. Issue a refund. Technically you went past the hour limit for gameplay, but they might be reasonable and return your money. Be polite and you will have better chances, however you should know that Steam can deny it if they want to.

Issue a Steam Support ticket :>

What makes you want to return it

They lost their reasonable ways when NMS turned into a refund war.

lol no
It's not a reasonable reason unless it's crashing constantly. But if you're going to say "I played for 2 1/2 hours and didn't like the framerate", thats nonsense.

my friend got a refund after he played overgrowth for 2.6 hours.

I imagine everyone working for Steam naturally develops an allergy to refunds.

Still worth a try because the 2 hour limit is there to prevent people from exploiting small indie games. Whoever is looking at the ticket will know that 2 hours might be past the limit, but it's for an open world game, so they might consider it anyway.

Yes, you will probably get your refund. even if you palyed for 3 or 4 hours.

Just simply explain you may have needed a bit more time to try the game or that you left it on and that you are just simply not impressed with it.

Eitherway , you can always try.

Goodluck.
