key mapping

i sure hope they will fix key mapping with a patch. as it stands right now, i cant progress in the story anymore since i have to get the wheel menu to pop up. but i cant. middle mouse button is broken (works sometimes but more less then anything else). remapping that key doesnt work at all.
edit: and i dont wanna play a game with shooter elements with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller

Yeah, every key I remapped on the keyboard does not work. And as it stands I can not progress in the intro mission stuff, because I can't bring up the map when I enter my car. I simply can't remove the popup, because the remapped button does not work. How can this slip through testing??

the wheel menu is the only one i have a problem with.
a joke anyway that they put two semi important key at the other end of the keyboard

Oh, and remapping to the original button (i.e. TAB for the map) does not work either... Same for stalking, reloading, etc...

This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. They never think about PC gamer or what ? Blurry textures, no HD, Blur evrywhere, 30 FPS lock, no key remapping ...

arcanine, mapping just seemed wrong to me anyway, i fixed it and saved it, hopefully, for future use.

i really hope this gets fixed soon so we both, and others, can enjoy the game

Anybody find a fix? I switched like my cover button, walk, etc and some of it works really well. but now I can't shoot, stealth takedown and more. :/

didnt find one. remapping the keys didnt work.
somewhere else i read that using the reset keys button can help. but i am not sure about that

Resetting the keys appears to have worked for me! How the hell I will play the game now being left handed I don't know. I'm going to see if I can get through the tutorial scene that I was stuck on and see if changing the keys afterwards helps.

Keymapping seems to have been done by an architect, its a crappy design

After resetting the keys to their original setting and beating the tutorial section (at Merle Jackson's) I have managed to change the weapon wheel and whistle keys and they still work.

No issues as of yet touch wood. Hopefully that will fix the issue for anybody else that was having the problem. :-)

I just hope now that they can address the issue (along with the many others) with the only three button mouse support as really I want to make my middle mouse button my grenade key rather than my melee. :-\

Same thing here guys, I remapped stalk (crouch) to C and it worked for a few minutes but then stopped working. So I remapped it back to X and now stalk doesn't work at all. :S

Not sure how to fix this, never seen this kind of problem before.

it works for me now. have been playing and...i just dont know if i should continue to play like that or nah.
what could fix your problem, phoenix, is reseting all movement keys with the reset command present in the options.
