Free Roam after the endgame?
Hi posters,
does anybody know if there will be the option to free roam after the game ending , like GTA V for example, or like in the past Mafia title when you finish the game it's all over?

I believe they answered this and yes, you can still free roam after game ending.

Yes, I watched a Youtube video from a person who played the game and one of the things they confirmed is that you will be able to freeroam after completing the story, allowing you to do side content.

yup. you will be able to continue to play after finishing the main story so you can complete remaining side activities, go on collectible hunting, or just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around

What are you all talking about, the only thing after you complete the story is the credits then main menu. There is no free roaming after the story is over. And yes i tried all 3 endings.

After you get back to the main menu just "continue" the game and you are in free roam mode (no story mission, just side mission available).

After you get back to the main menu just "continue" the game and you are in free roam mode (no story mission, just side mission available).

You have to chose to stay for this to work. You can replay the mission to pick this option.

No this is incorrect. Yes you can click continue after the credits, but it does not put you into a free roam mode. Read the objectives, it pre-loads you back to the game state before the last mission, telling you to again choose to leave town or stay. You are only reloading the last check point each time which allows you to pick a different ending.

After completing the game, after the game's credits. there's no option to leave town or stay. There are no story missions, just side missions.
My question is can you freeroam after choosing the ending of leaving town? because I chose to stay and it gave me the option to freeroam so I'm guessing you can't freeroam after leaving town (logically speaking) but I think for you to do collectibles and freeroam as any game it should give you the option to freeroam even though you chose to leave town.

Can i freeroam when i Leave?

of course not.. you left the City and now you are gone...

it is entirely the players decission when and how to "end" the game...

either you leave the city or you go to the last meeting... until one of those is choosen the "endgame" is freeroam.

Can you confirm that? because some players say that you can freeroam after leaving the city.

i will make it clear:

when you leave the city you are send into the final cut scene and the credits.
(Father James will tell that you still send Postcards from time to time and Agent Maguire will tell wich Underboss took over after you left)

when you go to the last meeting and spare the others you are also send into the cut scene and credits.
(Again, the Priest and the Agent will tell something)

when you go to the meeting and kill the others you are supposed to go into your Car what suddenly explodes and kills you (no saving after the Meeting)... sending you into a Cut Scene and the Credits again.

(The Priest and Agent again will tell something.)


the only exception is.. when you do not use your own Car after you have killed the Others... than and only than you can drive around the map how ever you like... with the only exception that your game does not makes saves anymore.

you will always load into the last checkpoint... before leaving the city or going to the last Meeting.

how ever... the game will make saves until you decide to leave or go to that meeting.


the "Freeroam" is between killing Marcano and leaving / ruling the City.
