Steam has to stop selling Mafia 3

Mafia 3 is just like Batman Arkham Knight.

A game for PC which is not ready to be released.

With all it major bugs and one of the worst optimation (no optimation) for PC, STEAM has to stop selling until those problems are solved.

This is fraud and should be called by it`s true name.

STEAM: STOP selling Mafia 3.

I have a EVGA gtx980ti hydro with 1300mhz clock. it boosts up to 1500.
my acer x34 g-sync goes "only" to 95Hz than it starts flickering.
most games i reach 95HZ, some games run with 80. worst game scenario are 60, e.g. far cry 4
but in every game more than in mafia 3....
even in crysis 3.

No, when I turned on the GeForce FPS counter I was dipping into the 40's and 30's in frames but I didn't experience slow down, it still ran smoothly oddly enough.

im very surprised the single 980ti can reach into the 80's and 90's with everything turned up on most games at that sort of res, infact id go so far as to say amazed at the wizardry as that would be considerably above any other 980ti ive ever heard of, and it isnt even clocked particularly fast. but how about the cpu, as that is the part that seems to have a large impact, and you are yet to say what sort of fps you actually get and what settings in mafia 3.

asus ranger VII with 16GB DDR4, think it has 2900 MHz
evga gtx980ti hydro (as written)
corsair series Air 540
be quiet silent wings, 2 in front, 2 on bottom
Corsair Hydro Series H110i for CPU with 2 be quiet silent wings
sound blaster Z

cpu reaches maximum 70°C
gpu reaches maximum 55 °C


all games i play high, not ultra.
in most games i can not recognise difference from ultra to high

Check how many hours I have in this game - why would I bother if I had issues? I wouldn't, I'd play something else and wait for a patch, like I did with Arkham Knight.

you still haven't - unless i missed it somewhere - mentioned what fps or settings you play at in mafia 3 for it to be so buggy and unplayable to the point you needed to start this whole thread, and frankly with that set up i would expect near a constant 45-60fps depending on what you have done with your settings, which again, brings up the question of what is exactly wrong with the game for you ?

so, i try to search a person who playes in 3440x1440 and not in console resolution like most who are writing: "i have no problems with mafia 3"


there are so many games out there which runs great with 3440x1440, mafia 3 is not.

as i wrote, i wait until january or february hopefully when NVIDIA releases a graphic card which is able to play mafia 3 smooth in 3440x1440.

and because of my g-sync monitor i have to use nvidia cards.

if there is any crack to go from g-sync modul to free-sync, hey i`m glad and would use it!

i really like to by a amd vega card if the horse power would cause accaptable fps in mafia 3 with 3440x1440.

but at this point there is no solution, and believe me, no patch can make it better.

well i play it fine at 1440p, so im one :) gsync doesnt stop you using amd, but it is a hardware solution, hence it costs more, while freesync is software and not as effective, but there isnt really any reason it shouldnt work with a gsync monitor, i have an asus rog swift 1440p 144hz gsync monitor myself, and frankly the performance of gsync isnt worth leaving nvidia for unless amd pull of a miracle and actually MASSIVELY out perform the green team to the point that it is worth dealing with far worse support, im thinking about trading in my 2 zotrac 980 amp extremes for a titan X to get away form bad or lack of support due to sli as it is, i dont want to be swapping that for bad amd support lol.

Mafia 3 is nothing like Batman Arkham Knight.

I was dissapointed with mafia 3, but is not even close to beign in as bad of shape as B:AK was on PC.

Mafia 3 has crap ai, tech issues and repetitive gameplay, not millions of crashes, falling thru the ground, graphcis settings not working properly or save issues like BAK had.

Been a pc gamer since the 80s and Batman Arkham Knight was the worst pc release I have ever seen. Mafia 3, while this years most dissapointing game for me personally, is not even half as broken as Batman Arkham Knight was.

You also realise that the game was released on more than just PC, there's plenty of players on console that aren't included in those numbers.
