.45 In Her Hand mission is bugged. Please help.

Hey guys,

So I just encounted a really frustrating bug. I have one side quest left to complete before finishing the game. I just assigned Cassandra her 3rd district and unlocked the final stages of the '.45 in Her Hand' quest. I was about half way through the mission, just about to steal the truck, when I got careless and died.

Unfortunately when I respawned the objective marker had disapeared. The quest log is no longer displaying the current objective, the first two parts of the mission are ticked off, but the third part, that should say something along the lines of "steal the weapons shipment" is no longer there. I tried returning to the location, but the truck and enemies weren't there. I also tried talking to Cassandra again but the mission still wouldn't progress. I've also tried closing and restarting the game which didn't work either.

This is driving me crazy, I'm a completionist and this is the last thing left to do before starting the final story missions.

Has anyone else encountered this bug? Is there anything else I can do to progress?

This just happened to me too on the same exact mission. Dying in the middle of it made the mission disappear. Would like to know if there's a fix to it.

Got it working!

I finished the final story mission, then continued the game from the main menu after the credits rolled. I was then able to continue and complete the .45 in Her Hand mission.

i have this bug now too ... but it wont show on the map where i need to steel the truck

I have the same issue - except the game crashed while saving right after I stole the truck. Next load, "Save game is corrupted and it will be deleted." Okay... Except it didn't bring me back to a checkpoint that made sense, and the mission objectives are no longer selectible.

EDIT: I have to correct this post to say that after restarting the game a 3rd time, the "Steal the Truck" objective showed itself and was selectible. Missions complete.
