Game not Launching

Pretty dang pissed right now. Almost 4 hours in, really loving the game, all of a sudden it crashed on me. When I tried restarting Mafia 3, Mafia 1 (DE) starts and then crashes (yes I've made sure I've been launching the right game). I uninstalled Mafia 1 and now Mafia 3 doesn't start at all. I've been through countless forums, tried game cracks, the visual C++ fix, restarting my computer, bypassing the 2k launcher with advanced launch options, verifying game files in steam and nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem. I hope the devs solve it soon. Maybe a problem with the 2k launcher?

Same problem here. I also tried Mafia Definitive edition and happens the same.
Have been playing to both titles since last week and no problems. This morning they started but crash before main menu, after that I got stuck in the middle of 2k launcher after pressing PLAY. Nothing happens

Hi, guys! I have the same problem as well. When I open the 2k laucher and click the 'play' button, it doesn't pop up anything. The problem occured only from today. How can i fix this proble??? Is it about the problem casued by 2k?

I'm having the same problem with the 2K Launcher it was working yesterday

The usual solution is to stop using the 2K launcher and run the game directly.

If it 'does not work' then you probably installed steam or your games to a different directory or drive from the Steam default. See my post #14 in the above link.

Hi, had the same issue, played over 20 hours the last 3-4 day´s.
Since yesterday crash (game crash my pc after 5-6 alt+tabs) i could not start it anymore.

Tried a lot of stuff: Grafic Card Driver from 466.11 to 471.41 (nvdia), vcredist 2015-2019 reinstall, Windows 10 update from 20H2 to 21H1, Checking my Bios if somehow the restart disabled SSE4.1.
Nothing worked

Then i tried Mafia 1 DE and Mafia 2 De, they still started.

Also looked up on Youtube, they linked me to nexus mods wich is only a download to a no cd crack ...
It may work but i didn´t tried that.

And my last try was just now bypassing the 2K Laucher.

Same - worked ok yesterday now will not launch. The 2k Launcher has been ♥♥♥♥♥ from the ,imute they forced it on everyone and this is just another in a long line of screw ups

ive noticed the game is no longer on geforce experience either, im guessing people have but has anyone tried uninstalling the game??
