[MOD] Definitive Mafia III Overhaul
I am currently working on an overhaul mod (started as a personal project) to increase immersion.

This will include various changes such as first-person view, no HUD, audio balance, economy re-balance (more challenging and incentive to heist shops) and possibly some changes to the police.

If you could detail the tools you're using that would be great, I also have a project in mind and am stuck with certain parts.

Working on the police behavior. They not gonna shoot you anymore from the car (it is rather risky behavior and ruins police chases). On the other hand, police will be better at chasing you.

Finally got the police working mostly as I want and especially without crashing the game on me!

@Justine, I started tweaking audio but just generic and not sure that really had much impact. There is a way to adjust each audio bite but that is a lot of work to do.

@Condor, there is a lot of testing and tweaking needed to make it work properly. I am still in the process to make it work well with all weapons and so far there is one "bug" that can be fixed by entering/exiting a vehicle that I could not find a fix for yet.

What is done:
- graphical changes (clear picture with no overcast and darker nights)
- most UI changes (hiding HUD and reduced blood effects on screen)
- first person mode (some tweaks for different weapon modes left)
- changes to police chases (much more aggressive but not shooting from the car anymore -> longer chases)
- attempt to tweak audio (mainly for in-car first person view)

What is left to do:
- a lot economy re-balancing (it is money shifting so quiet boring to work on)
- minor tweaks to the HUD
- final tweaks to first person mode
- looking into tweak to hideouts and them flipping more dynamically to become your enemies but that needs a lot of play testing (maybe in a first release)
