Once you leave the US, there is this amazing possibility of,... you know... not wanting to play a black toon and still not being racist. Shocking? I know!
I also don't want to play a female toon (TombRaider), yet I don't hate on women either.
Neither do I want to play as a kid toon (Grounded), or an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toon (Starpoint Gemini 3).

Usually if I have the choice of making my own character I make them white because I’m white but the whole point of the story is to see what life was like in the 1960’s in a racist town from the point of view of a black man.
If you buy the game without somehow realising that then it’s your own fault I guess.

Oh, yeah sure.
The game has a fixed story that NEEDS the player toon to be black!
I totally get that and am fine with that myself.

But I too usually like to create a toon that is like me (not just the color, but also hair, beard, weight etc. So I understand the sentiment of wanting to change the appearance of the toon you are playing for several dozen hours.
