Mafia 3: Modern Cars (mod)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8WJIg76feI

,,Modern cars can be found in the games files, I simply modded them in to be able to drive them. They were clearly never intended to be interacted with and likely used for recording cutscenes. Bugged textures, mostly no sounds, barely any damage models and no functioning doors. Pointless but interesting to see.''

Is very sad to see that the Mafia 3 community has better ideas than the developers and is for free!

Doesn't this apply to basically all games these days and not just Mafia 3? Most games today have a huge community making mods either extending or improving the games.

Developers, I'm quite certain, have a lot of ideas of what they want to put into the game, but since this costs a lot of money, eventually, some ideas have to be left out.

And everybody have different ideas of what they want in a game, so developers might have one idea, and some community member another. And I think it's great to see that games today are open enough for mods.

This game Is different since it lacks a lot of features that everybody thought that would be in the game.

"Everybody"... exclude me from that please, I'm not missing any features.

Anyway, the lack of features must be applied to all games where people make mods, which does not make Mafia 3 any different. And ultimately the developers are the ones that made the decision of what features they wanted to put in the game. The lack of some feature could be as simple as the developers didn't want to include that feature in the game, Maybe didn't fit the vision the had for the game.

Everyone who played mafia 2 at least. The game has serious technical issues, lightning, textures, it's a bugfest, just look at the amount of funny glitches vídeos on youtube. On top of all that, the game is extremely repetitive, and the AI Is idiotic. It's ok if you like the game, but all that is the reason the game is getting so much hate and average/bad reviews.

I played Mafia 2 (and 1 for that matter), so still, please don't speak for me by saying everyone.

Look up any game on youtube and you will find videos of glitches and bugs. 80+ hours and I ran into one boat being stuck inside the water which is the only game breaking glitch I had, so for me, I can't say I had the amount of issues as you will find in a youtube video.

The game for me is not anymore repitive than most other games. The biggest issue with these open world games is that it includes a lot of driving back and forth, but you can say the same with games like GTA or Just Cause.

The only AI problems I've seen, is random people walking out on the street in front of you, only to stop in the middle of the road, instead of moving away from your car.

I disagree, i've also played for 80+ hours and saw many crazy and funny glitches and bugs.

This game Is a mafia game, at least by it's title, you expect to play a variety of missions not always the same damn thing.

And if you are fine with the police AI and enemy AI, i guess we have nothing more to discuss here. I expected a lot more of this game.

You keep enjoying it, but don't be surprised if you keep finding complaint posts about the game, maybe there are people with higher gaming standars than yours.

I'm sorry that I have to say so but Virtual has no idea what he says there. He is definitely a littl COD child that has no idea of gaming. Who says mafia3 is good is either an idiot or it was his first game which he has played in life.
How to install Mafia 3 scripthook ? When i unzip the files and put inside Mafia 3 directory, and launch Mafia 3, if i try to execute the scripthook my game will crash. (Also, how to make this game run on 1080p 59Hz monitors? I need to play it on window mode)

The vanilla game is unstable enough on its own, adding mods is just asking for trouble

How can anyone say this is as repetitive as any other game? Take GTA V for example, those missions were fun for the most part. JC3 is repetitive yes, but at least it's fun, it's not repetitive in that scale as Mafia III is: drive a long way, kill a few dudes, drive a long way back x 100. The devs were too lazy to even include a fast travel option in this game :D Like a cab even. that wouldn't take much time.

And the basic features that shuold be in this game are missing. It's not about having more features only, it's about continuing the series fundamental things that have been there since beginning. You can't really take magic for example away from The Elder Scrolls series and say:"hey, we're doing something new, mods/future updates will add that back in for you guys!"

Mafia as a gaming series puts up a few expectations (as every series of games does), this game failed most of them. After the first awesome act, this game is just boring revenge story, full of copy-paste missions, and i can't even change my shirt before the dlc comes :D

I bought the collectors edition, and i regret it, that was 130 euros thrown to them. And i got a game that's like gta III. Just a slightly better graphics.
