That's not overheating. Those temps are well within the manufacturer limits of normal operation.

I was going to post from my memory stating that 60C or 140F is when CPUs begin to throttle themselves to prevent damage but I did a quick search and found some helpful information on the intel site, their forums, and an independent site. I hope these links are as informative to anyone interested as they were to me. As for the GPU, they too have processors in them so the data provided can be roughly applied to it as well.
A section on the steam discussion board where people talk about computers and the various hardware in depth too can be found by just going to Community > Home then perusing the different sections.

Those CPU temperatures are really a lot higher than I would expect for a stock i7-6700 processor. Are you using the stock Intel cooler or an after market model.

Also, can you confirm that you do not have an i7-6700K processor - if you do and you have an overclock or added voltage to the CPU then that would be a valid reason to see such high CPU temps.

Game runs better for me now than ever ! . Yes I had to play with sound and graphics , on board my computer , not the game . It comes down to how well you know your system , and how to tune it to games like this . Like the old saying " If you can't handle the heat , stay out of the kitchen " . This is a game , that is optimised for Console , if you don't know how to optimise your PC to this game , it because your a dumb Fk . If you are a dumb fk , then play another game , and stop WHINING because you are not smart enough to run this one !!!

I have a way smaller CPU than you and the same graphics card , My GPU runs this at 60 c . It is the operator that counts not the system . If the OPERATOR is not up to "spec " , then don't blame the game !!! :)

If you have a cheap case , then why complain ,typical mistake is a box that's not designed for the system !! LMFAO !

You couldn't know what case I do have, I have one 120mm fan intake on the side panel and one 120mm rear exhaust nothing special.

Do you live in a hot environment, ambient makes a difference too? It's a whopping 17c here in the part of Canada I live in. The Blower style GTX1070 run hotter than the 2 or 3 fan aftermarket versions.
