Lots of screen tearing with VSYNC off ?

Anyone else getting this problem? (ultrawide set up 2560 x 1080p)

Every game gets tearing, unless you enable vsync, i have vsync enabled in every game and it makes ganes look much better also, why do you even want vsync off ?

I have a gsync monitor, i never use vsync, it causes latency...

i was having the same issue until i disabled full screen optimisations. Right click on the games exe and go to properties, compatibility. Game is really smooth now and im running with an unlocked frame rate

Thanks a lot for posting. This made a huge difference in how the game runs for me, and was the key to getting GSYNC to work.

I turned off VSYNC and set Unlimited FPS in game, now running 165Hz with GSYNC in 1440p... buttery smooth all around.

Enabling Vsync in this game forces fps to 60 regardless of your monitor hz, I have a 75hz monitor so Vsync is set at 75fps, but this game doesnt support that, only way to get it to work is to use fast sync but unless you get like 100+ fps its not recommended.

https://github.com/Filoppi/reshade/releases/tag/v4.6.1 - This is the mod that fixes this. The game defaults to 60hz regardless if your monitor supports more. I'd still turn on the 60fps cap for stability reasons, but this would allow you to disable v-sync and have G-Sync/Freesync working with the game.

I have a Gsync monitor and i am using a program called Borderless gaming to run the game in fullscreen windowed. And the fps is also not capped.

I noticed the the strange HUD box is back, even though they moved the hud to the left on ultrawide but there is this transparent box to the right of the screen

This actually fixed it! Day and night for me. Despite having plus 100fps it was feeling really jerky and laggy. Not it feels like a different game. Crazy stuff

YES!! THANK YOU! I was gettin insanely furious about the screen tear in this game. Im not using a G-sync monitor but i still worked! THANK u once again!
