Graphic card selection problem after 21.8 GB update
Well guys, was playing the game for almost one week without any single problem. Im using a Dell G7 with Core I7 and Geforce GTX1060 6 gb memory Graphics card. but suddenly after the update when i lwant to launch the game, started to give an error telling that " we have detected your system does not meet the minimum requirements to run this game, your performance may suffer as a result" . and when i enter options from the launcher it was showing in GPU link that my nvidia was not selected. only showing intel UHD graphics 630. i select the nvidia one and tried to enetr the game but was the same problem I guess other players has the same. its like dark blurry and can not even walk around because of slowness in the game. any suggestion?? any one lese has the same problem??? thanks in advence

Force the game to use your dedicated GPU through Nvidia Control Panel.
Go to Manage 3D settings>Program list, add Mafia 3: Definitive Edition application to the list and select the 1060 on the list.

(I don't have laptop so not sure the correct name of the setting, but should be obvious for you).

I had the same message telling me my hardware does not meet the minimum requirements. It's probably because my hardware is much newer than the minimum requirements listed on their store page as I have a desktop pc with Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, RX Vega 56 8GB GPU and 16GB of RAM. The game ran perfectly before this "update", now it won't run in full screen mode and every time I try it, it freezes for some reason. I can only run it in window mode and then I get 60 fps on max, but the graphics look bad in window mode, even worse than in the original as I remember it. So much for "Definitive Edition", but at the very least, I can run it, apparently some other people can't...

I have a Geforce GXT1050 and till today everything was fine, but now the grafics are just awful. First it took my Intel-Card, but even after switching it as descriped it is still as bad as before.

@mr.devolver
I have nothing on my mind about fullscreen problems and possible solution, but for graphics check in-game options. There is a new option called Texture and for some reason most likely it's set to low.

@Zaunkönig
Same goes for you. Check in-game options and find Texture setting and make sure it's set to high.

I get the same message popping up when I launch the game and I pretty just ignored it, set everything to High and the game runs perfectly fine.

You can bypass that pop-up if you disable Launcher within in-game options. Set Disable Launcher to ON and you'll be fine.
