UPDATE: Mafia III Free Outfit DLC and New Patch Available Today

Lincoln Clay is ready to take on the mob in style – starting today, you can choose from 11 outfits while bringing down Sal Marcano. Along with Lincoln’s new threads, we’ve also rolled in a series of performance updates and hotfixes for Mafia III in a new patch.

OUTFITS

This was a big request from you – our fans – so we made sure to get free Outfits to everyone that owns Mafia III, ASAP. So, suit up! With this update, you will now have 11 outfits to choose from: six outfits that Lincoln wears throughout different points in Mafia III’s story, and five all-new outfits. If you want to stalk the streets of New Bordeaux in military gear, you can. Want to get decked out like a proper Mob Don – no problem. Or maybe you just need a sweet racing jacket for when you tear through town in the Samson Drifter. Choose the best look for you!

As soon as you hit the “Somethin' I've Got To Do” mission, these outfits are available for you to pick your new look. Just head to your safehouse – or any racket hideout you’ve taken over – and head to the wardrobe. Ready for some killer style?

UPDATE: PATCH NOTES

The dev team has also been hard at work addressing your feedback since the game launched on October 7. We’re happy to report that we’ve made a number of improvements on PC included in this patch. But we’re also not done improving the game, and will be making more updates to Mafia III in the future.

These updates include:

UI Improvements
Improved car reflections
Improved streaming issues
Performance optimization
Fixed audio issues
Fixed some cases of savegame corruption
Fixed various issues for Cassandra’s Contraband missions
And more


The work continues for the dev team as we still have more free content on the way – races and car customization! – and more updates for Mafia III. So keep an eye on our social channels for updates. And, most importantly, keep sharing your experiences with us. We want your stay in New Bordeaux to be an enjoyable one.

If you have a cracked version you can not expect to be able to play the game without problems. If you don't know how to confiigure your computer and make it run properly, you should talk to someone who knows about hardware and set it up correctly. Mafia III runs great with the new patch. As i said before I got around 100 fps. If you want I can post a screenshot with FPS in Mafia III.

Too little, too late, I'm afraid. Already finished the game like, I imagine, most other people. After Battleborn, this is a second huge letdown from 2K in the span of six months. Don't think I'll buy on release anything coming from them fron now on.

There's no patch that can fix this game on PC. Its was a poorly optimised port to begin with, and the game was rushed. This is happening more & more often nowadays. I thought PC was supposed to be the far superior platform 🙁

Reaching a solid 60FPS when capped at 60. I am running the game on a GTX 970 with an I7 6700k though.

Even though the game runs smooth, there are a lot of bugs and glitches. And the gameplay just feels repetitive and boring.

Good news there erikms, and thanks for releasing some of your pain here so we, the PC community, can help you. Obviously by your statements you are new to PC gaming and possibly pushed out or bullied out of the console community as that can be difficult to integrate especially if you have like you have shown below average intellect or interpersonal skills but that is fine we welcome you here.

What you will find as you play more PC games is that unlike the consoles you are used to and been kicked out of then not every PC is made equal but also not every piece of software works the same across each PC. You are lucky this time that you run this particular game well, what I ask is when you get a new game maybe for Christmas if you have been a good boy that you compare the stability and report back here, maybe if it doesn't work as expected we can help you understand and ease some of your pent up anger so you don't hurt yourself or others in the real world with your sadness.

as i made a vid on the old performance of the game at 1080p and 1440p while my pc was ... not healthy, (40-50fps at 1440p 60+ at 1080 with reflections on low) i am now uploading a vid of the new performance and its in the 70's and 80's with everything on high at 1080p and 50's to 60's at 1440p with a 4790k clocked at 4.6 and an ocd zotac 980 amp extreme, sli does seem to be enabled to a tiny degree now also ... 5% and low clocked on the second card as oposed to simply nothing before.
so im afraid if you are around or above my specs and are suffering really low fps, i suggest you do what i have spent the last week doing, and fix your pc as something is wrong.

as for the phenom 2 guys, sorry they didnt re-write the game for you, and it sucks, but it may be time to start saving for a new cpu, as i suspect more and more games wil begin having similar issues, sadly, the old phenom 2 was superior to its fx replacement in many ways.

Who needs free outfits when the game runs very poor? Perfect example of releasing unfinished games.. ive got a gtx 1070 and it doesnt matter with if i play low or high sertings. It keeps giving broken images!! Please do something about that!!
