I agree with others on this thread that you shouldn't compare apples and oranges with regards to GTA5. It doesn't have to be an either or proposition, play whatever you want but for $7.99 (sale price of Mafia3) you will get more than your moneys worth.
I think its hard to compare Mafia III against GTA5. But if I had not played any of the games GTA 5 is for sure the first game you should get of the two. Even if we skip that GTA has MP the gameplay and story you will get is way better just beacuse its Rockstar who dose it.
But if you need another good, not great open world game set in a uniq time periord and it has a good story the I recommend Mafia III. The gameplay is far form GTA but that is to be expected and also the quality of the World and the stuff you can do is far less. That said its still a fun game for the right price. So now at sale its a good deal and you can have fun with it
Stop bulllshitiiing and comparing this to GTA5. Are you guys autistic or what?
worth buying, that's another question ;)
Hmm, im still mixed in fealling to buy or not to buy by all those different answers and reviews...
Worth buying: i guess it is right now
Worth playing: im not sure about that, if i combine all the comments i have read it get to the result:
A boring repetative gameplay with bad aiming and flat story telling, alot of bugs and game crashes often...
So what exactly does make this game worth playing?
I dont mind paying money for a game, but when i buy something and start to play it i want to play trough it. I got disapointed by a lot of games before, sample "Dishonored", games that people praise to be worth playing and then you end up in a totaly anoying boring story, with repetative content where you only wish for it to finaly end, but because you bought it you dont want to stop playing cus that would be money waste.
So IF i would buy this game, what exactly is the "Worth playing" part, i only read bad comments here that point out why it is bad, but the good comments only say "its worth it" but no reasons why exactly its worth it, the only Pro i hear here is the graphic and even that is in some comments commented as bad and blury.
