PLEASE FIX THE RACE TIMES!

The new added races to the game is a great feature, or atleast it would be if the races were possible to win/ get 1st place in. The races have so much traffic that you would be lucky if you didn't hit into them atleast once and the racing times are so short that it makes it impossible to get to that time or better.. PLEASE FIX THE RACE TIMES!

already completed all of them on 1st place

but i had to switch from simulator to normal

First place isn't the problem, getting the best time reward is, for me.

Yes. You need a perfect ride for best time. Is totally annoying.

Same here, I can get first place fairly easy except for one or two of them but the best time reward is impossible for me. Closest I got is the figure 8 track in my modded out Mustang. Even then I was 2 seconds too slow.

Hmm, they're called records for a reason :D IMHO it shouldn't be too easy to get them.

But there are 2 races I deem rather impossible (got 50% with the record broken, for the record), being the French Twists (for some reason I'm already .8s behind on the first checkpoint, and it seems to grow exponentially over its course (what car they used I would like to know, as it seems to accelerate like an exotic ;p)), the other being Frisco Double-Tap, but I blame that one on myself... not too good with the De'Leo Traviata on tight turns, hehe.

Aries, thats the one I have problems placing in the race. I only tried the race a couple times but will need to put more time into it to see if I can get better. But that is what I am seeing is what you described for all tracks the moment you start and hit the first check point you are a second behind and each check point is just another second behind but yet your doing 100 - 105 mph and still not able to make time. Thankfully so far the rewards for beating the record isnt something I want to unlock. Would be nice since I am a completionist and try to complete everything.

yeah I actually meant that type of 1st place its like the platinum reward and the other first place is gold. The gold is okay to get but to get the last prize is really hard.

its really annoying though because you can't get spoilers and things like that unless you get the final prize which as you said is impossible..

I tried racing I got one time I beat the record. But I had to stop because after I got that record beat every race I tried after that was one of two things it was either raining or it was night time. night time isnt too big of a concern for me but the fact that headlights dont illuminate infront of you, I dont know how many times on the dock yard leg of this one race I was doing I kept running into solid pipes off to the side that I never even saw due to the fact headlights dont illuminate nothing down road like real headlights. The rain is what made it impossible to even attempt as the car just keeps spinning out all the time.

Same here, but even being end game cars like the kick back pack Mustang and Firebird/Transam they just couldnt reach the time required. The black Sampson that is standard in the game and is the standard car for Lincoln with a super charger front air dam and such on it, the car would actually reach the positive side of the time for the pylons you pass. Down side is once things got wet which it always seemed to be raining or night time the last few races I did before I started my second play through, it was just impossible to win on the city courses for me.

Yeah those rain courses can be so much more tricky. The Sampson Drifter was the only 'Sports' category car that really worked for me. The others not so much....and for the 'Exotic' category the Traviata is the best one to work with as well. I'm afraid to go through a second playthrough 'cause I don't want to go through all the races again to get all the customization unlocks. It took me so long and it was frustrating to me at times. So, the devs really need to make the races a better experience and nothing frustrating as it is now. I'd be sooo happy if they did.

I only had one record time unlock on my first play through so I didnt loose much, I also gained it back the moment races became avaliable to me I went to figure 8s and in one try with the Sampson Drifter got the record beat and im back where I was in my first play through. Down side is I got to do all those other races just to unlock the tracks I had.
