How do I download mods on Mafia 3?

In Mafia 3 I am not sure how to download mods, I've seen afew things about Scripthook and that, but what do I do with it and where do I put the mods?

Need you for most (all) mods.

Donwload mod, extract file and copy/move unter directory Mafia.
Then you have also under directory Mafa the directory scripts where you put you extracted mods. Read manuell.

I have Win10 und i get only crash dump with scripthook. Only lua script under scripts doesn´t work. Perhaps, for all other works fine.
