Trying to beat " Faster baby " , but the game crashes...

On the third mission "kicking up the dust" , when I enter the scarpyard with roxy my game just freezes , can someone help me out ?

Are you playing it on Win 7 or Win 8, there are some problems on older than Win 10 systems for some odd reason.
Crashes problems should have high priority for them to fix, especially when they are releasing paid DLC's...

I'm having this issue on Win 10, so I don't think it really matters on which system you're playing.

no this might sound unbelievable but i share it with you anyway

i had the exact same issue

first of all this is the only thread about this i found in here and the mafia 3 forum so i dont know what luke jolie is talking about... anyway

i then been looking for similar problems and freezes during other missions and found a thread in which was suggested to look down to the ground during the time the freeze occured

it sounded stupid but i gave it a shot anyway

i looked down to the ground (to see the roof of the car) shortly before the bridge you have to drive under and voila the game didnt freeze i took the right turn and before you have to go left again i watched back where i was going and completed the mission

like is said it sounds unbelievable but you might give that a try too

It's February 24, 2025. The game still crashes at random moments during "Kicking Up The Dust" mission where you need to drive around town destroying things with your car. Windows 11 Pro 24H2, running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode, disabled full screen optimizations, running in windowed mode (although running the game in full screen mode still results in crashes).

EDIT: I found that if you cap the FPS at 60 the game doesn't crash. This can be done in the graphics settings.
