Connection problems in co-op
Hello,

Friend and I recently pick this game up and we've both been having some strange connection issues.

We've tried this with private and public games we've generated, and even a few other public ones.
For the ones we've created, we will find that the second person to join, if the first person is in camp, will not be able to join and will get a message saying 'cannot host game' (both players will be told the other has disconnected).

We have found in most cases, if the player already in the 'server' goes into a 'raid'(I think you call the non-camp instanced zones that?), then the other person can join the camp, and then join that raid etc.

On joining other public games, we seem to have seen disconnections in a similar vein to the one's with experienced even to other people, leaving 'raids' and returning to camp, getting disconnected (sorry if that was you!).

Off the back of our few public game tests, I also had something spurious happen where when trying to join my friend in a raid, on my private server, his name in the ` list, appeared as one of the previous public game people.

I don't expect any of these things are necessarily related, but I've also seen this occur to a handful of people without a result in the forum, so I'm not sure if this is a known issue without a known cause yet.

Any ideas welcome - if this is potentially a firewall issue that needs more than steams sanctioned port requirements I'm willing to configure to test.

Sometimes this bug is Common. Happens only if Different clients play together.
But bugsearching is there for us Player very hard, because as player we have no informations about the Connection.

Think the devs work on it.
I'm not clear what you mean by different clients - it should be the same client provided to both of us via steam - can you elaborate?

I'm hoping someone from the dev team can confirm the status of this if it is a known issue and whether there is any resolution/action that can be taken.

It does make the coop aspect of this an "interesting" logistical challenge.

Same issue. While I can play in servers with other people, when I play with friend, I get booted. When he joins a server with other people, they get booted. If he is already in a mission, I can usually join camp then join him in his mission, but once it gets back to camp, booted again.
It's been a while with no representatives from the game responding and still not functioning.

Is there somewhere else where i need to be logging this complaint/bug as I'm essentially unable to co-op with no reasoning or explanations and no way of me even investigating this, which is fairly poor.

hts1 was great and this has potential but due to the lack of ability to actually play with anyone else, renders it rather disappointing, moreso by the lack of responses on what I understood to be the place to get help with an early access game.

Hopefully someone can point someone in this direction as I've seen several others suggesting they have a similar problem with no remedy.
It can happen, on some days i had no issues, and sometimes i got Connection problems again and again.

The reasons are for us as player still unclear. But if you have all the time problems you maybe need to check your system and Internet connection.
Sorry that there is not really a workarround, if the devs would know one i am sure they would share it with us (Implement that workarround).

Btw. Friday evening. Baddest time to ask the Devs for an answer. At least till Monday 8 am. French Time.
