How to Fullscreen/Change Resolution/Shadows

There are three ways to do this:

Alt+Enter



Steam Library > right click game > click Config > click resolution



X://STEAM/STEAMAPPS/COMMON/HOW TO SURVIVE 2/EXE/DETECT.EXE
Double click it and choose the resolution you want. Graphics option shown on the bottom right comer.


Edit:
Fullscreen and VSync are coming at the end of April
Other graphic options at a later date.

Have you gone into game and adjusted your UI setting?

I am having the same issues and connot get it to fit on 1080p screen. What do you mean about adjusting ui settings?

In the game you can adjust your hud size with a slider. It's in options menu.

Hello savage!

Let's start at the beginning! Do you have DX11 installed? Are your OS and video drivers current? Is your video driver WHQL signed and did you update from the manufacturer and not Windows update?

Yes I have DX11, I have current drivers, and I update with nvidia...

BTW,could you please add the v-sync option into the configuration? Radeon Software's v-sync doesn't work and other software limit fps will make picture delayed.

Try to change Nvidia setting to use discrete graphics card（global environment).

ok, so I got scared at first when I just ran the game and... it was a micro tiny window in the middle of my desktop. Found this thread, read about Configuration and thought "OHHHHH maybe this is it! Let's try again! =D "

Nop. Ok, game resolution is nice and awesome... but... the UI. A total mess. There's no way to play in 2560*1080 because there's so much UI being cut off... I was gonna say left and right, as the saying goes, but the cuts happen top and bottom =p most top.

One example is the main menu: there's no "How To" there - and even "Survive" is getting cut off. I won't refund the game, I do believe in the Early Access way and I do believe that devs will sort this out. Make me proud.

We are adding some graphic options I just don't have an ETA on anything other than fullscreen at start up and VSync, both by the end of the month. Lastly, did you try to change your UI in the game to make your HUD smaller? I just want to see if that allows you to play. Reply back at your convenience.
