Good base location?

Okay, I've seen other posts similar to this and also seen the replies showing various maps of where they placed their base... but I still don't really understand where we're supposed to place our base. There's too many damn trees everywhere that we can't remove so I guess the buildings won't be together?

I first tried to place my base near one of the Kovak base access points and this has worked well for me getting to and from my base to his but now that I'm adding more bulidings I'm quickly running out of room to keep them together.

Doesn't make sense to me why there's not just a designated location but does anyone have any suggestions on this?

OMG.. I think that's the most impressive guide I've ever seen. Really.. The time you had to put into that is unimagineable. This game must have been out much longer than I thought cause how you gathered all the information to put into the guide is beyond my understanding.

I'm almost without words on how to comment.. so I'll just say WELL DONE!! and I also love that you had the pic of the G502.. I love mine.... Also have the G910 Keyboard to go along with it...

.... oh... I guess the game map just doesn't have a great place to put a base camp cause even from your maps there's just too many trees everywhere to have all our buildings together.. and I hate messy so for me it's going to be annoying not having an organized base but oh well.. :(

You are right, to place them all on a Block is nearly impossible, but "the Shield" is good because you have them all in a circle with a clear path to reach all buildings.

So i would say its not that bad at all spoken from the point of view about the optic
