[HELP] Where is the save file located

Hey there,
I always like to keep a backup of my save game files in case I have to reformat my computer and/or sync with Steam cloud encounters an error.

Could someone please let me know where the save file for the game is located and if I need to do anything special to back it up.

If something feels wrong about your characters,
dont log into game further.
Disable cloud in Steam Properties,
Look into steamlibrary/steamapps/common/howtosurvive2/data/save,
copy the folder onto desktop as backup,
delete the SaveChar slot (number),
rename the SaveChar slot (number)_backup.

May restore character to previous session if corrupted.

Do make backups of the save folder occassionally for unforeseen measures.
