upgrade this weapon at thw armory...DLC weapons? Rusty Scythe ? HOW?

Got the soilder DLC with the assult rifle, and the rusty scythe, which both say they can be upgraded at the armory. I dont see how... Please explain.

upgrade available at the armory level 25 for these weapons ^^
