Just a tiny patch to address a very annoying bug regarding Quests. Thank you for all of the community members who reported it and helped me to fix it, now even old saves should work normally!

Fixed a bug where opening the Quest menu without any Available Quests on the list would cause the game to crash;

Once again, thank you to each and every one of the players, especially to the ones who took their time to leave feedback and report bugs. I hope to have your continued support in the future so I can deliver the best game possible!

Bug with quests menu

I started the game, got to the location with the slimes, and the next day, when I loaded the game, when I tried to open the quest menu, the game freezes. I can send you the save files, but first I would like to know where they are located, they don't seem to be in the main folder of the game. I assume it's somewhere in the "App Data". I'm sorry for the possibly crooked English, I'm writing through a translator....

[Demo v0.1.6]

New update to the demo, adding a few minor quality of life changes and improvements, along with some minor bugfixes.

Changelog

Adjustments:

Added a difficulty option - can be altered at any time and changes how much the player damage scales with level;
Added an icon to the Bestiary list to more easily indicate when you completed an entry;
Added a proper icon showing the shortcut key to the hovering menu when highlight a field on the town menu;
Changed the icon of the "Rusting Powder" item;

Balancing Adjustments:

Increased the effectiveness and duration of the "Enchant Weapon" skill;

Bugfixes:

Fixed the "Fire Enchantment" spell scaling incorrectly;
Fixed the battle text displaying incorrectly for some status effects;
Fixed the damage text on pet attacks not showing the color correctly;
Fixed the battle text on "Toxic Fog" displaying incorrectly;
Fixed "Silver Winged Circlet" item not showing when equipped on male felines;
Fixed a bug where the game would lower the combat speed when loading a save file;

Just a small patch to address some minor issues.

Changelog

Adjustments:

Added "Cool Drink" to the General Store;
Added "Energy Drink" to the General Store;
Reworked the sprite of the "Antidote" item;
Reworked the way stats are shown on the small status screen;
Revised the texts shown on the Mage's Guild, Loadout, Inn and Adventurers Guild interfaces;

Balancing Adjustments:

Reduced the price of the "Antidote" item;

Bugfixes:

Fixed the pet not leveling up displaying incorrectly;
Fixed an issue when using the "Sharpen" spell;
Fixed the Exp displaying incorrectly when at the max level for the demo;
Fixed you being able to obtain exp from quests even while being at the max level for the demo;

Nice work on fixing the quest issue and lovely addition of the shortcut additions; things i noticed on this version: Known Bugs: -pet leveling at dungeon post screen still bugged (it will always say leveled up to X level, regardless if it just reached X or continued to stay in X) (unless this bug only happens on my old safe, didn't feel like doing another fresh safe to grind a pet to check) New Bug: - This line of code appeared, but didn't really notice anything not working, so unsure what exactly trigge...

Came from portable version

Now that i am playing steam version: Does resting scale with level? like resting gets more expensive with each level. Btw the animation for looting is nice but is not instant and you need to click which is kinda annoying to have 0,5-1s delay and playing animations in fight could be faster it seems really slow. Cleric seems nicely op managed to defeat first dungeon boss on lvl 1 using 4 small potions the mace + heal combo is op early game.The run on portable that i played as squire was little harder bc...

bugs and feature request

features: -windowed fullscreen - as far as i could tell spacébar /enter does not forward/skip text - clear explanation beforehand on wether spells and skills can be active at the same time or if using one removes the other bug: randomly freezes mid battle and then can't be interacted with, while sound still plays for a while. after simply closing it and restartign it works for a while. however i left the game as is after it froze once again until it closed itself; since then i could not start it, stuck i...

Random crashing?

Game is pretty fun, I like managing levels and stuff (although Sorcerer is seemingly really weak at the beginning as far as I can tell but I hope that changes once things get going). Unfortunately my save has this weird issue where it keeps crashing, but not for any reason I can tell. It crashed when I got into a fight with a Goblin Shaman, and then when I hit the Quests tab, etc....
