Considering my 49 year old father is dying from stomach cancer, and still after 30 plus years of funded cancer research, it has yet to get anywhere. I feel like the money goes into other people's pockets and not towards the cause.

The CEO needs a new mansion, brother. how else are they expected to maintain the charity if the corporate leaches don't get a new Lambo. On a serious note, it's all a huge marketing grift meant to exploit people's good will for mostly profit. They do the bare minimum of research to prolong it as long as possible, and you walk away with a dopamine rush.
