Unfortunately this game was made by ubisoft so there is no telling when OR if this will be even fixed
this fixed it for me
Sorry to hear your game is crashing.
Please first try all the steps from our PC troubleshooting guide: https://ubi.li/8Nv0g
Make sure you upgrade not only your graphics card drivers but also check for ALL available updates to your motherboards.
Disconnect any additional USB devices, other than mouse and keyboard for testing purposes (any USB hubs, headsets etc).
Try creating a new user account in Windows (Administrator account) log into it and install the game there. If you had any corrupted files in your local profile, this should resolve it.
Make sure you are not on a Insider Preview of Windows 11. These are beta versions and may not be stable.
If nothing of the above helps you, please generate diagnostic files from your PCs and attach them to a support ticket for analysis - https://ubi.li/i1JM5

Ubisoft Support
Windows setting
Troubleshoot and go to additional Troubleshooters.
Click on- windows update and let trouble shooter begin after it finishes it will say if it found any problems it will have fixed them.
It could have you re-download windows update setting and after they download restart your pc.
Then go to setting - troubleshooting- additional Troubleshooters. click on -program compatibility troubleshooter and troubleshoot steam (if your game is on steam)
And also troubleshoot Ubisoft.
Use recommended troubleshooting fixes for both.
After you have done that open “command prompt” open in admin mode.
And type. sfc /scannow
Dont click or touch anything let the program run it will look for any corrupted files in your windows. After it finishes it could say it either found corrupted files and fixed them or it could fix the corrupted files.
So it fixes it or not next type
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
And again dont click or touch anything let it run.
After it finishes it will fix the corrupted files you had or if they got fixed from last step it will say everything is good.
Next type
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Again let it run dont touch anything after it finish you need to type this last command
chkdsk /f /r
Hit enter and this msg will pop up saying it couldnt chkdsk cannot run becuase its in use do you want it to be check next time youre pc restarts.
Type the letter Y and hit enter.
Exit out of command promt and restart your pc.
Dont dont touch any keys once you restart your pc it will check your disk after it finishes load up command prompt in admin mode and type again
stf /scannow
Let it scan again and it should not find anymore corrupted files after it finish scanning.
Now load up r6 and try to play again it worked for me and my brother. If you need help add me and ill try to help you out through the process.
