Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

RAINBOW SIG SIEGE: RainbowSix.exe file is MISSING.
I have had this problem for a few days now and I'm at the end of my rope. This problem only occurs to me on Rainbow Six Siege and no other game. So firstly I had an error and I couldn't play any matches, so i restarted the game but this time i couldn't get in again. So finally i reinstalled Rainbow but at the end of the installation it said I had a disk write error. After pressing a lot of buttons i managed to continue my installation and the disk write error was "gone". Ofcourse i tried booting up the game but after 10 seconds it just pops me right back to steam. I tried to verify my game files, repair library and clear download cache but none of this worked out. Since i have no rainbow .exe file i can't run the game as administrator. Can someone please help me out with this problem?

Hey FlingyFlongyBronky, I am sorry to hear that you had trouble with a disk writing error in Rainbow 6 Siege despite your troubleshooting.

To rule out some common causes of issues I have some tips I would advise trying below:

- Ensure your PC meets all system requirements [www.ubisoft.com] for Siege.
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Add Ubisoft Connect and the game to your anti-virus/firewall whitelist
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]
- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
- Launch Ubisoft Connect, Steam and Siege using admin rights [ubi.li] to ensure permissions are granted.

If this persists would it be possible to share your system specs including details of the drives you have Steam, Ubisoft Connect and the game installed on?

Many thanks
