Game crashes when I tab out/minimize (can'r reopen it).A BLACK SCREEN/FROZEN SCREEN

Hi, does anyone else have the issue that they can't reopen the game after they tabbed out? I started it, played normally, everything was fine, then i tabbed out shorty and when i wanted to go back into the game, I couldn't. Task Manager said the process is not responding. Waited a few minutes to see if it just takes a while, but nothing happened. Thats REALLY annoying, does anyone know how to fix that?

I changed mine to borderless windowed to fix most of the problems I had with tabbing out. A lot of people will say it affects performance but ive not really noticed a problem with it. Might try and see if it helps

Can you try running the game after a clean boot to see if the same issues occur when alt-tabbing?

Hi,thanks for responding.
i tried it after a clean boot and the problem was still there,but since the time that "Igotdild4u" replied to me,i searched on the internet and in a youtube video,it said "if changing the game window mode, to borderless IN game the problem might not get solved,but if i do it manualy from one of the game files it works."
here is the address for the file that it mentioned
C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\
there is a folder in there,and in that folder there is a file named "GameSettings.ini"
in that file i should change the value of "Window Mode" from 0 to 2
and it fixed my problem as long as i didnt change it,when i change it back to full screen the problem comes back with it.
i tried verifying the game files using steam,i even reinstalled the game but nothing has changed.

May we please know the specs of the system you're using?
