Game recently has started crashing often.
Its impossible for me to play the game now, I have over 500 hours on this game and this has never been an issue, it worked last night too. But tonight it just started crashing, when im defending it crashes within like 10 seconds into the prep phase and my screen freezes, when im attacking, the game freezes while im in drone phase. Ive verified my files, restarted, updated my drivers and my specs are perfect because ive been consistently been playing with an average 800+ FPS, but only recently its been impossible to play the game because it just keeps crashing. Is anyone else having this problem or will this be fixed in the near future in a update or patch?

Same issue here, getting a crash middle of the prep-phase, no updates, I have verified files, and updated my graphics drivers and ensured that I don't have any 3rd party apps running. I run an AMD rig, if you also run AMD it may be an issue with their software.

I have found a fix for me, I ran my Siege in Vulkan, it must have been Direct X causing issues.

Hello everyone

Sorry to hear it Rainbow Six Siege crashes on your PC.

The game has just been updated recently with the start of a new season.
Can you update it and test it again, please?

If it keeps crashing, can you tell us if this is happening in DX11 or DX12 mode?

Have you tried disabling background processes, especially 3rd party overlays?
