Rainbow Six Siege Connection Error (8-0x00000146
Every time I launch the game, I get a dialogue in the game with the error code above and says 'The Rainbow Six Siege servers are unreachable'
Anyone else facing this issue?

Thanks for your response. I found a fix by searching on forums. All I had to do was close Ubisoft Connect->launch Ubisoft Connect separately->login to Ubisoft Connect
That fixed the issue for me :)

Having same struggle right now and it worked perfectly fine just a couple of hours ago

If someone of you playing on steam R6, try to login on Ubisoft Connect and check if you are connected with the servers (online) and not offline mode. Same error, that fixxed it for me
